Today in keeping in the spiritual morale the whole of KM has been forced into, we felt it appropriate to share with you in the honoring of one of our elders turned ancestor within the KM founding council, Mr. Aaron Julian McDaniel Jr.
A.J. was the third born of four boys on this day in 1952 in Los Angeles, California to his father Aaron Sr "Mack" and his mother and another elder turned ancestor KM founder J.C. Robison, may they both continue soaring high over us and guiding our way with the other ancestor elders watching over from under the wing of great Creator.
Jr. served us honorably in the Viet Nam war as a mecautea for the US Army. After his service for our nation, he went on to graduate form the Julian School of Arts and also get a degree in electronical engineering. Aaron was known and beloved in his community of Alameda as a "Jack of all trades" and spent the remainder of his life predominantly doing construction restoration on a great many of the Victorian buildings and homes throughout the island. If ever in Alameda, his work shines best in the complete remodel/restoration of the Alameda Theater on Central Ave.
Aaron ultimately passed from heart failure within a few months of his 65th birthday.
A.J. left behind many who love and deeply miss his uplifting personality and broad ranged intelligence including many friends, his beloved wife and of coarse his little sister, who happens to be KM's sachem. This day will forever be sacred to KM in tribute and remembrance of him.
