Typical Luck of ONAC in the Oregon legal system governing justice

Well, another call just came into the church, this one notifying us of the ball being dropped by Multnomah County DA;s office... Michael Patrick "Pork Chop" Jenkins has been released from custody.

Sgt. Baxter, the officer overseeing the churches defense against Jenkins contunial abuse and harassment of ONAC KM contacted and spoke with sachem Graves informing that Jenkins had been released from custody because the DA chose not to hold him accountable for the 35 counts of telephonic harassment Jenkins was charged with in their system. Graves asked the sargeant if at least her Restraining Order had been served on Jenkins before he was released, but the sargeant said she didn'k know nad advised Graves to immediately contact Ms. Swenson at the county DA's office as she is apparently the one who made the call to release Jenkins from custody without charges.

Graves immediately contacted Swenson's office and left a message. Moments ago, Ms. Swenson spoke directly with Graves and perfusely apologized for having to release Jenkins and assures Graves that her office is taking Jenkins behavior as well as his threats extremely seriously, and asked that Graves relay that as well as her sympathies to the church. Swenson did state that she confidently believes there's merit to the charges, and assures that the case is not "closed permanently" and that they do intend on taking legal against Jenkins for his illegal as well as dishonorable actions.

In hearing the conversation first hand, we Believe that the DA is in fact sincere at taking the situation seriously, especially being made aware of the victimization ONAC KM has already been suffering from at the hands of state and even the federal government, and again emphasized that they Are taking this seriously and that they would be in contact with the church and Graves again soon regarding this situation. Swenson also said to relay to All ONAC members that if they feel any form of threat or have received any form of harassing or threatening behavior from him, to seriously consider informing them as "The more evidence we have, the better the chance for getting him the help he needs." Swenson also complimented our churches "understanding" and noted that not so many "victims" would be so.

Sachem Graves re-emphasized that their is no pleasure nor gain to be had by she or the church in seeing Jenkins prosecuted, and stated that if anything it likely "Proves to be the best thing the church can do for him." Graves explained to the DA representative that he obviously depserately needs help and that ultimately the church is unable to provide. Graves says she places hope in that perhaps the state being put into this position can assure he gets at least some of the help he needs, in adddition of coarse to shielding herself, church and members from further victimization by Jenkins.

Please stay tuned for updates on this as well as other ONAC & ONAC KM news as it arises.
