ONAC Member Patient improving despite government attempt to condemn!
It is so heart-warming to have received word that our ONAC patient member to whom the package was attempted to be sent across the country and whose spirit and faith were broken by the government stealing it has had Some of her faith and fighting spirit restored thanks to the warriors of Oklevueha Native American Church.
Warrior member and attorney Matthew Pappas saved the day by assuring her sacrament medicines were received where they were needed just a few short weeks ago.
Elaine is 65 years young, born three days after Christmas in 1950 to a home with
In March of 2014 she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Doctors started Elaine on chemotherapy treatments 5 days per week!
As many know, chemotherapy is known to be and cause damage all in itself. Modern Medicine however, spared Elaine from death but left her with a treachea and still praying for full remission.
Elaine is a fighter. According to family, she endured more than anyone should and always kept a positive attitude and Faith in Great Creator. Elane had an uphill road to recovery. Six months ago they "cut her off of everything, all her medications" according to family, and pushed her into "food from a can", which bothered her, not to mention sent her spiraling into cachexia. Her family were Devistated, watching her literally physically wasting away, a painful spiral thanks to having to try and fend off a deadly disease such as cancer, but... she was Winning... struggling - but winning!
One day, thanks to her son being a member of Oklevueha Native American Church, it dawned on her that it was Great Creator alone that could save her if anyone could, and that it was Creators medicine that gave her the faith of victory and life thus far, not to mention all the blessings in her life including her children and her pets. So, Elaine as well as her grandson joined Kautantowit's Mecautea, a different independent branch of ONAC than her son, but per the counsel of ONAC members, ONAC KM was her best bet as they primarily rely on Mother Medicine, aka Cannabis, which is well revered for destroying cancers of all types and of all areas, inside and out.
When learning about Elaine's urgent need for the all-heal herb, branch leader Joy Graves promptly sent a care package via US Mail priority to Elaine's son in Ohio. Elaine was actually at this time in Somerset, Kentucky under constant care, and suffering spiritually, mentally, emotionally and too physically. Her heart and hope were overjoyed knowing mother medicine was in route. But then, the worst fear happened... the US Government over-stepped their legal authority and infringed beyond measure upon she, her son and the church.
On the postal website it was announced that the care package had been seized in the main post office of Portland, Oregon. The church promptly demanded it back, stressing to them how they had violated many federal laws by so-doing, and emphasizing the importance that they promptly right their wrongs and either deliver it at godspeed, or else return it to the church. Twice Graves and church members held protests in front of the post office and literally demanded the return of their package... to no avail.
Elaine's faith was completely shot as it became obvious they were choosing to Not do the right thing and release their illegal hold on her much-needed medicine... so much so that she literally signed a DNR on herself because she felt she was damned. The church continued and still continues to retrieve their mail stolen by Inspector Melvin. This prompted an injunction to be filed by church counsel "So that they cannot pull this on our mail again" explained Graves, "Or our members."
Press conferences were announced by church attorney's in both Portland, Oregon as well as Cleavland, Ohio. Medicine was gathered for Elain in Oregon and personally hand-delivered to Elaine's son at the press conference in Ohio... with a DEA conference going on in the very next room!
Upon delivery to Elaine, faith was restored not only in she herself, but also too, in her children, grandchildren and other relations. In time, Elaine was back up on her feet, taking care of herself, her home and of coarse too, her pets.
Constant smoke and prayers are called upon for her.
