Sugarleaf lashes back as ONAC KM with "Cease and Desist"

Hours after having been officially notified as to the severance of association and relationship by Oklevueha Native American Church, with the instruction to Cease and Desist in publicly associating ONAC to ONA Sugarleaf Rastafarian Church, a "Cease and Desist" notice was publicly placed on social media threatening legal action on the grounds of "Copyright Infringement" for having displayed the Sugarleaf logo while providing media coverage regarding the investigation on Sugarleaf by ONAC which ultimately led to the disassociation between the two churches on ONAC's part.

Additionally, as you can see in the screenshots of Sugarleaf's public posts, their "Queen" has also acknowledged having had the ties severed from ONAC insisting they now stand on their "Own Merit," an interesting position indeed according to ONAC leaders.

Apparently Sugarleaf leaders are convinced that they are equal in their legal standing as a church to Oklevueha, which is the furthest thing from the truth of the facts of the matter. "Sugarleaf would have the people believe they have the right to sanction sacred sacraments among their members, but the truth be told legally they do not, and the proof of that is had in the Federal Controlled Substance Exemption licensing with the DEA in Texas." According to ONAC, only they and the NAC have such an exemption allotted them from the US Federal government regarding federally controlled substances, with the exception of the UDV church which has won the right to utilize Hoasca as their primary sacred sacrament.

"People think that they can back door around the canna-business comptetition that They helped create by promoting regulation by turning to ONAC which in turn is causing an uphill battle in keeping our church safe from such exploitation and potential harm, not just for our members but our entire communities throughout society."

As a church media, we at ONAC KM are Not Worried about a threat of copyright infringement for posting photographs of a churches logo who was Claiming affiliation with us at the time they were posted, especially considering they're all over both social media as well as the internet, just look on google images for yourself." Church leaders feel that the act was purely Retaliatory in nature because ONAC had just publicly disassociated from Sugarleaf hours before, which they say all but officially has "Put her out of the church selling business, or so we hope."

Though the association is now officially over between they and ONAC, because they insist on making this personal, we Will be continuing to keep a fairly close eye on them and report anything that We Feel is worth our publishing it as we are strongly protected in the 1st amendment of the United States of america to do so, and so we shall, we just may not use any of her "copyrighted pictures"... then again, until we see a copyright, maybe we shall... one never knows!

So anyway, we Thank you ever so kindly for your continued interest and support and we Highly Encourage you to stay tuned for future updates on this and other ONAC related news that may be of interest to you. Blessings everyone, and have a Wonderful summer day!
