Police Shooter is identified as Employed Church Member
Breaking news has revealed an important point to be had in the importance of properly operating a church comes with much sorrow in Yuba County, California this morning when 2 deputies were shot while responding to a call from "Yuba Trees Church", an off-shoot of ONA Sugarleaf Rastafarian Church.
Currently it is reported that both of the deputies shot at the church have underwent surgery at the closest local trauma hospital to the scene, and that the suspect remains at large in spite of having been identified by church leader Heidi "Leff" (Lepp) as having been an Employee of the church's marijuana farm. According to neighbors, none knew there was any sort of a church claiming to be established there, and the same proves true in both a "church search" via google as well as a specific search through the Secretary of the state of California's office, but so is the claim as of this time according to multiple media sources.
Despite having served a notice of harassment upon the county, deputies responded to Lepp's 911 call reporting that "a man" was at the church farm upset and literally uprooting cannabis plants and wheeling a gun as he did so. Only after word of the FBI in route to the scene and that the officers had each gone through surgery and were listed still in serious Condition did Lepp then identify to officials that the shooter was an Employee of the church farm but thus far has only told police he went by the name "Sawyer".
"This is a tragic event and our hearts remain to the officers and their loved ones during this time" say ONAC leaders. Onac, whom recently publicly denounced association with the church July 29th 2017 (just 3 short days ago) say that they are sorrowful for All people inflicted by this situation. ONAC KM spiritual leader Joy Graves says that the wisdom to be had in this is in the importance of "Leading" a church: "It's such lack of sincerity into actually Operating a church opposed to just selling them that these things end up happening and many people unnecessarily suffer. We denounced their church for just that concern in effort of protecting our community and are heart-broken to see that not all were safe after all - please pray for the officers and their families and let's hope that justice prevails."
Please stay tuned for further updates as they emerge as well as for other ONAC related news and information you may want to know about.
