More court for Sugarleaf's illegal farms

Well, it's Monday folks, and as we know, the weekend quieted on the vow of a filing to come against Calavaras County from Sugarleaf after the county ruled against there illegal pot farm, fining them 6,000.00 with the promise of it increasing until the abatement of the land is completed. The fine did not befall Sugarleaf but instead the property owner, despite Sugarleaf claiming ownership of all the plants illegally growing.

So far, there is no word of a filing in Clavaras, but, there Is word of more court dates for Sugarleaf, the earliest being tomorrow and another scheduled for Friday. Here is the post qoute itself which came from sugarleaf just hours ago: "Tuesday at 2pm in Yuba County we are going to politely mess them up in a hearing with the truth and the correct law. We also have a case in Yolo County on Friday for my restraining order hearing against the DA Jeff Reisig for discrimination and harassment of a religious organization. Come support if you like. #united #winning#marysville"

We are still waiting to see what if anything will be done about the Calavaras case that was lost Friday, and will update you just as soon as there's any word, if there is any to come of it. On another note involving Calavaras County and Sugarleaf, Sugarleaf had this to post just a few hours before the above was posted: "Calaveras dropped the charges on our church members that were arrested. Yay!!! The Sheriffs were lying again that our church had illegal guns, drugs, pollution, and human trafficking. The farm was absolutely beautiful so now we sue for the return of our property. #dismissed #notguilty #CalaverasLiars"

We are awaiting to see if there is any confirmation to be had in this statement and will let you know if we find one.

Until then, we Thank You So very much for your continued interest and support in all things of interest to ONAC. Contribute if you can, share if you would, blessings to you all.
