Another victim of Matt Pappas steps forward
Well, beings we have recently been covering the incompetence of a California licensed attorney by the name of Matthew Scott Pappas, victims of his have been coming forward and publicly speaking about there encounters with him, and the sufferings they've faced because of him, and today we are going to share one of them with you from the heart of central California that we believe you might appreciate knowing about.
For those of you unfamiliar with Matthew Pappas, he is a Civil rights attorney in California who proclaims himself a defender and protector of cannabis, or at least he was until last summer, when the california state BAR suspended his license to practice based on his mental instability and lack of competency representing and even defending his clients.
Dr. David Allen shared just yesterday, October 6th at 10:42am with his accounting of how Pappas has caused harm to his personal life, and we would like to share his accounting with you here now so that you will be aware of it, this is what he stated publicly about it:
"Attorney Matt Pappas signed a contract last November with me to defend me before the medical board. I was set to defend myself pro se in the medical board administrative court. (Insert kangaroo court) which was scheduled for two weeks of court testimony. Matt Pappas signed the contract the Saturday before court which was to be held the following Monday. The administrative judge was pissed but reluctantly conceded the two week block of court time. Matt Pappas never produced even one piece of paper after that. The end result was that I was prevented from defending myself in court and my license and career was taken from me on the charge that I did not do a "good faith exam" Matt Pappas like so many attorneys was hope for me that some justice would be done. What a profession? I need just one honest attorney to sue the medical board for suppression of this science and deliberately attacking doctors who practice the science of the endocannabinoid signaling system!"
One woman by the name of Rose Betchart Smith commented to Dr. Allen's post stating "That is what he did to lots of growers here in Shasta Co. a couple years ago. He took down payments and never filed cases" and went on to state "Not an honest person and runs a shitty business! Matthew Pappas took down payments from Shasta Co growers and never filed their civil lawsuits a couple years ago. Then he would not answer our phone calls when we asked how our cases were going. We never heard from him again. How about some refunds Matthew Pappas !!!"
Unfortunately Dr. Allen is not the only one who has suffered because Pappas failed to put effort towards defending them, not a good thing to see from an attorney towards those he declares to be His clients!
