ONAC Men's Ceremony in Idaho 10/20-22

It's our honor to announce for Members of Oklevueha Native American Church in or near the state of Idaho and or willing to travel there.

ONAC of Taylorsville has an upcoming Men's Ceremony. The details are below:

"Come embrace your inner Warrior! Drumming, Music, Native American style Sweat Lodge, Firewalk, Plant Medicine Healing ceremony and Hot Springs. Enjoy great food and company as we journey to the deepest parts of our souls and unite as brothers. Remove blocks in your life, overcome past trauma and heal your inner wounds. Stand as the Warrior you are in today's world. Be the mountain!"

The dates for ceremony are going to be October 20th thru the 22nd, and here is what is going to be happening:

Friday: 6:00pm Opening ceremony and the setting of the intentions, followed by a "Light dinner and snacks." Then the ceremony continues at 7:00 pm and will run All night with focus being on our plant healing ceremony.

The following morning (Saturday) commencing at 7:00 am a Chanupa Ceremony will begin and continue until 9:00 am at which point there will be a Breakfast. At 10:00 am will begin Breath Work which will continue until12:00 noon when they will again break for Lunch. At 1:00pm the attention is turned to enjoying the Hot Springs and then at 3:00 pm those in attendance will Prepare for Sweat Lodge. At 5:00 pm there will be Dinner, then at 6:00pm Sweat Lodge continues & Firewalk is initiated.

On Sunday, the final day of ceremony, Chanupa Ceremony will begin promptly at 8 Am and will last for approximately one hour. At 9:00 am the members will do Sharing and Reflections until 12:00 pm for Lunch break Then at 1 o'clock pm there will be Potlatch ceremony and then all will proceed to conclude with the official Closing Circle ceremony.

Lodging for ceremony are going to be arranged with KOA. We are told the cabins are heated and comfortable, though you are encouraged to bring your own bedding and clothes. All Oklevueha Native American Church members are Highly recommended to come and be part of this beautifully planned ceremonial weekend, and to share with us your experiences so that we can in turn share them with other interested members and non-members.
