It is with great honor as well as relief that we are able to share with you the updated status report on the federal injunction we have filed in Oregon November 29th 2017.
What we have found out as of this morning is that our case has been assigned to the Wayne L. Morse U.S. Courthouse which is located at: 405 East Eighth Ave.Eugene, OR 97401. Those of you whim may consider attending once we proceed this into trial, please note that the Wayne Lyman Morse United States Courthouse is located between 6th and 8th Street and Mill and Ferry in downtown Eugene.
There is ADA Access via a ramp or elevator on East Eighth Avenue, which leads to the public entry. Please also know that valid Photo Identification Is required to enter the courthouse. Metered parking is available on 8th and on Ferry, and several small paid parking lots are adjacent to the Courthouse but apparently there is no free parking options notable by the courthouse which is where we are getting this information from so we can share it with you for your information as well as convenience.
This federal courthouse was constructed in 1999 and completed in 2006, it serves the District of Oregon as part of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. On April 7, 2004, federal officials held their official "Groundbreaking Ceremony" at the site The courthouse is named in honor of former U.S. Senator Wayne Morse who represented Oregon for 24 years in the Senate and was a Eugene area resident. As you can see by the photograph immediately above, the brite shiny The $96 million dollar project for the 266,742-square-foot stainless steel and glass building literally standing six stories tall is rather hard ta miss once you have an idea on what building you're looking for. Inside this big beautiful building are six courtrooms and several offices for the courts and other federal agencies such as the United States Marshals Service. The courthouse also has offices for Oregon's two U.S. Senators and for the U.S. Representative in the district as well.
The bottom two floors are covered in glass and house offices, while the top three floors are covered in ribbons of steel and primarily house courtrooms. Three pavilions rise from the main structure to create these upper floors where the six courtrooms are located. Each of the top three floors have two courtrooms; two for the judges of federal district court, two for magistrate judges of the court, and two for the bankruptcy court, with these courtrooms spread out amongst the pavilions; two per pavilion and all on the third floor. Chambers for the judges are located above the courtrooms and include a seventh chamber for a visiting judge. On the same level as the judge's chambers are two law libraries for the court. The three floors featuring the courtrooms are joined to the rest of the building via the 85-foot tall atrium. on the second floor is the jury assembly room, which when not in use by the court is used as exhibit and meeting space.
We have also been informed that our case has been assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Jolie Ann Russo. Judge Russo was appointed to the federal bench on February 25, 2016 and on October 21, 2016 formal investiture ceremony as the Wayne L. Morse U.S. Courthouse in Eugene to welcomed U.S. Magistrate Judge Jolie A. Russo to the District of Oregon federal bench, which is kind of a neat thing as Judge Russo is the fourth woman to serve as a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the District of Oregon and the seventh woman to serve on the U.S. District Court since the state of Oregon established in the year 1859! Beings we are a Matriarchal church, we cannot help but to take this as a sign from Great Creator and our ancestors that the wheels of positive change are now upon us all via our injunction!
Judge Russo has devoted over 28 years of service to the U.S. District Court, first as a staff attorney to Judge James Redden, and later as a senior staff attorney to Judge Ann Aiken whom ultimately is the seat on the bench she now fills. Judge Russo has served as an adjunct law professor at the University of Oregon School of Law since 2004, and she has also served as an adjunct law professor at Lewis and Clark Law School.
Judge Russo served as a Staff Attorney and Senior Staff Attorney for the District of Oregon since 1988 She is an active member of the U.S. District Court, District of Oregon, Local Rules Advisory Committee; the Federal Criminal Procedure and Practice Committee; and the Federal Bar Association, serving as the Immediate Past President (2014-2015); President (2013-2014); President Elect (2012-2013); Vice President (2011-2012); Secretary (2010-2011); and Director (2008-2010). She served on the OWLS board from 1991 to 1993.
Ms. Russo served 10 years as a Citizen Review Board Panel Chairperson for the Oregon Supreme Court and she also serves her legal community on several boards, including the Federal Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, and the Multnomah County Bar Association. She earned her JD from Lewis and Clark Law School in 1988.
So, the next phase of following through with the injunction is that we are in process of securing our ability to handle the majority of the future filings electronically, and too, we are in process of getting the Summons approved for service upon our defendants. Once we get these things accomplished we will promptly let you know. So you all know, If our case progresses forward beyond this court, it will then be advanced to the Federal Circuit because under the Tucker Act, cases like ours which are against the federal government are appealed there opposed to United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as most other cases would befall Appellate jurisdiction-wise. Although we don't expect this case to come to that, as a rule we feel it's better to be prepared opposed to surprised, especially in something as important as this as too many of our members have and continue to suffer irrepairable Damages as their retaliation and disregard for our church continues without any repramandation on them for their illegal actions against us.
The bottom line of it is that they had no warrant Nor have they Yet to even try to obtain one so to try to justify their illegal theft of our mail. We HOPE to have an attorney retained on a Contingency agreement by the time our case gets called before the court. If you know of an attorney who would be willing to represent the case, please let us and them know we would Love to speak with them about it. It's important that people really understand, this case is Not about our being a church, or even about our rights as a church to the earth-based sacraments, and it's not even about cannabis... it's about our rights as Creator's created beings To the web of creation... our inalienable rights to freely be just as Creator made and wishes for us To be. If you think this is a church or a Native American church or even an issue about cannabis alone, you are sadly mistaken as This Case IS going to be the Best chance we have of preserving all of our individual as well as collective FREEDOMS... so if you stand for That then you Should find yourselves standing with us as we progress this case forward to All of our Victory and LIBERATION as the Constitution,Iroquois Confederacy and Treaty as well as even the UN Universal laws of Human Rights assure we have the Right as beings To be - we are just ensuring they RESPECT it and us once and for all!
As always, we Thank you for your continued interest, contributions and your support in all that were trying to do and achieve for the greater good of the whole of our beloved sacred web of life, blessings to you all, please go in a good way and let's make for our globe Good Medicine!
