ONAC hangs child church out to dry

Well, it's really no surprise to most of you to hear that Oklevueha Native American Church (ONAC) has left yet Another church high and dry in the fire of the "Law" but this time it hits Kautantowit Mecautea a bit too close to home as the church Oklevueha's left dangling in the wind is Not Just blessed by ONAC but in fact is also blessed as one of Our child churches as well!

Yes, you read that right, and we are highly Pissed!

The church, "Oklevueha Native American Church of Metropolitan Detroit" which has been in operation for more than 2 1/2 years under the blessing of Both parent churches. Mainly though, they chose to reflect themselves as Oklevueha they say "Because we paid so much for the ONAC blessing" whereas the blessing given them by Kautantowit Mecautea was completely Free of any charge.

According to ONAC, the church was running multiple site locations as well as multiple cultivation locations and were planning to expand and flourish their church even more, which sounds like a good plan, but apparently it's not one ONAC was in agreement with them doing.

"Little Otter" which is ONAC co-founder Linda Mooney's daughter as well as Tracie Butcher who is ONAC's secretary of their plans of expansion, and it was that news which ultimately upset Oklevueha with Metro Detroit.

Church leaders of Metro Detroit state that ONAC then presented them with a "New Contract" insisting they sign or lose their blessing. In the moment the leaders felt it best to consult with there attorney team who ultimately advised them to refuse to sign the contract and when they then notified ONAC they would not be signing the new contract, this is when they say James Mooney personally wheeled a threat that apparently they should have taken a bit more serious "Either you deposit $150,000.00 into my personal account by (X date) or else you're going to have big serious problems." The leaders admit that they didn't know what such a threat would entail, but soon it seems they might find out, and as promised to them, it wouldn't be good.

Within a few days of James Mooney's threat, ONAC of Metro Detroit suffered a devastating PTSD episode at the hands of local law enforcement officers (LEO) when their primary sanctuary was raided in White City, Michigan. Several church leaders and members including one of their own attorney was roughed up in the raid by police who were quick to throw him to the ground and refer to him as "Kool Aid Man" as they smeared his face into the muddy terrain. All on scene were arrested including the attorney who was jailed and put on a 24 hour hold, not allowed to call himself an attorney as was the members arrested as well along with him.

Jacob Hughes, leader of ONAC Metro Detroit was the most charged in the raid is charged with a dozen counts encompassing charges to do with illegal cultivation of cannabis. All the others arrested on the scene have also been charged but with less counts or threat of sentence, Except for ONE, which won't come as much of a surprise to many of our readers we're sure...the attorney who was arrested wasn't formally charged with any crime, but he Was arrested and too, kept in solitary confinement for 24 hours like were the others- not allowed to even call his own attorney much less talk with his clients and so he is Not a happy camper. Three additional attorney's had arrived on scene during the coarse of the raid but police denied their access to their clients or on the scene.

All in all a total of 5 church members were arrested and over 200 plants were illegally seized from the church sanctuary on March 20th 2018 located in White Lake, Michigan. Church leaders insist that all the cannabis took was medicine for their members, many who suffer from cancer.

While there, we had the opportunity to speak with an elderly woman suffering from cancer whose still thankful to be a church member in spite of saying she was also present at the churches illegal raid and thrown to the ground while being treated and spoken to very poorly and unprofessionally at all by the police and arrested. Their target was "Any and all controlled substances including "Marijuana" narcotics, paraphernalia, firearms etc. which they did get along with a shit-ton of cash, much of which wasn't noted or even reported by pocketing police.

According to the report, three "Tips" were called in about the sanctuary noting smell of cannabis as being the reason behind the illegal raid. Last we checked, smell was Not a valid factor of reasoning when conducting cannabis raids in the United States... are we wrong?

Another interesting point to make is in that on the 19th of May 2018 police note to having seized a few bags of "abandoned" garbage they Claim was left to be found in front of the churches sanctuary over on Ford Road. We would like to point out how circumstantial that is, I mean TRASH that was left on the side of a road for heaven's sakes, have they nothing better to do than to play garbage monitor for the rural areas of the city? The state of Michigan proves to be a very different and interesting place indeed and apparently have much time on their hands.

"That was not our garbage" insists several church members who were at the property, "Our garbage has to be in the recepticle or else they will not haul it away." Members who put out the garbage insist that the trash was never put out until the morning of pick-up and was always put inside the garbage can as instructed by the company hauling it away. "Anyone could have pulled up and sat trash out on the street, but we never saw any bags out there when we went to put out the trash, else we would have investigated it, especially it being out there the day before trash pick-up like police are claiming." Perhaps if the police ever return the DVR they stole during the raid and have yet to account for, we will be able to SEE the truth regarding both the garbage as well as the raid for ourselves and finally get some truthful answers.

ONAC Metro Detroit was licensed with the county, state and federal government and also have established their 501c3 status which remains intact as a "domestic non-profit entity." Here is a link so you can see for yourself that legally they remain licensed as a church within the state of Michigan... the problem is that they've yet to be given or shown any by the state of Michigan's government. https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_mi/71993X

As if the illegal upheavel wasn't enough of a blow for one day, imagine the surprise when spiritual leaders turned to Oklevueha for help and support and found nothing more but a cold hard shaft from ONAC founder James Warren 'Flaming Eagle" Mooney telling them Oklevueha would not be standing with them this go round.

All in all, in addition to the several hundred plants that were brutally murdered by police, a few hundred pounds of medicine was also seized along with a few firearms, 5 vehicles all registered to the church and more than $40,000.00 was taken though not All of it was officially accounted for by sticky fingered police who have seemed to magically disappear over $14,000.00 of the cash all church members insist was present until police.

Thursday April 26th is the next court date scheduled in regards to the illegal raid at which point we all hope and intend all charges to completely be dismissed in entirety as ultimately there's nothing more than a circumstantial case against the church to say the least.

Please stay tuned for future updates about this and other pertinent breaking news in which we believe You might have an interest in knowing. We also ask for smoke and prayers for the church and church members as they keep faith in justice prevailing in their favor.

Thank you for your interest, support and all of your contributions, and blessings to you all in great abundance!
