KM gets offer of support on Fed Case from James Mooney

It is with great surprise that KM Sachem Hawkeye Graves received an email from James Warren 'Flaming Eagle' Mooney yesterday afternoon offering support to KM American Native Church in the currently pending federal case we have going against the State of Oregon as a whole as well as a small handful of specific counties and their officials, sheriff departments, and a small city who All are and have been committing acts of Bias HATE and profile targeting on the church, it's sanctuary lands, and church officers as well as officials.

For those of you unfamiliar, James Mooney founded the Oklevueha Earth Walks Native American Church in Benjamin, a rural community west of Spanish Fork, in 1997 along with his wife Linda Mooney and a Paiute named Gary Tom. The Mooney's won a decision in June of 2005 from the Utah Supreme Court authorizing they as ONAC to administer religious peyote ceremony for any member of the Oklevueha Earthwalks Native American Church- tribal blood or not. As a result, state drug charges of peyote cultivation were dropped against the Mooney's.

KM was confederated with ONAC since back in the end of 2013 and acted as Bear Clan for ONAC while working diligently on defending our beloved Mother Medicine sacred medicine Cannabis. In 2015 ONAC and KM stood together in a cannabis case in Grant County Oregon which ultimately the judge made an opinion that the case be dismissed before going to jury trial, but not before confirming the validity of both churches and acknowledging cannabis as being the "Focal medicine" of the KM Church. Though KM was gifted "an Olive Branch" to KM to also administer peyote ceremonies, KM has yet to ever do so and instead routes members seeking grandfather peyote to ONAC child church chapters as it is not our focal medicine.

As you will see for yourself, James Mooney has offered his personal support to Sachem Graves and KM as well as to "Be there" should she and KM wish for him to be an "Expert Witness" in the federal case.
