KM Cub Desert Retreat 2020

Another great and successful journey was had again this weekend by KM tribe, and we thought we would share it with those with interest.

This adventure is another annual journey KM makes with our youth "Cub" members in effort of connecting hem a bi more hands on with nature, the history of this land and their elder and ancestor relations.

A big part of Oregon's history encompasses the Gold Rush, and so what adventure could be complete without exploring a few ole mining caves along the way back in time, right! Finding them along the rivers is always a nice added bonus, especially on these hot days.

But of coarse we're out to honor mother earth in all her splendor, which leads us through the John Day Fossil Beds and right along side of Cathedral Rock!

We can honestly say no mountain was left unexplored...

Nor any stone left unexamined and appreciated for their great many gifts and medicines...

Especially when ya have a pack of young energetic cubs along eager to learn and pave the way!
