Amanda Blair Delmastro, originally from North Carolina, grew up in a normal two parent home with her brother in a middle-upper class lifestyle. However, as with many young girls growing up, Delmastro would reach a point in her life of insecurity and self scrutiny and according to she and family members, found her way into drugs and alcohol before initiating her high school years.
Feeling "fat" Delmastro chose methamphetamines' as her substance of choice and by her own omissions, she became a daily user from that point forward in effort of keeping her weight down. Delmastro graduated from Trevor Browne High School with a 4.0 average and being on the Dean's list, leaving her growing addictions out of the scope of most around her. While attending Duke University Delmastro began building resentment for her parents for not noting her inner-struggles. Soon after she would enlist into the Army and study o become a nurse. It was in the military that she would find her next act of vengeance on her parents in effort of gaining their attention by getting pregnant by a Hispanic guy knowing her parents had issues of racism toward hispanics.
Delmastro explained that "to get my parents upset, especially my dad" she sat her eyes upon a young hispanic man from Texas. Soon she would be confirmed as being pregnant. "I told him if he ever wanted o see he baby he had to marry me, so he agreed" and according to her, the couple were married in the state of Texas on May 8, 2001 when Delmastro was 18. But a happily ever after i would prove to Not be for the young couple "
Delmastro explained that "to get my parents upset, especially my dad" she sat her eyes upon a young Hispanic man from Texas. "My parents have always been really racist, especially toward Mexicans" Delmastro said with a chuckle, and boy were they pissed when I got pregnant by one!" Soon she would be confirmed as being pregnant. "I told him if he ever wanted o see he baby he had to marry me, so he agreed" and according to her, the couple were married in the state of Texas on May 8, 2001 when Delmastro was 18. Of course the pregnancy earned her a discharge from the military, and so she coerced the man into marrying her and "Doing right" by she and their son. Unfortunately for the baby, the relationship wouldn't last long and before their son was 2 the couple separated.
This is when Delmastro and her child found her way to Phoenix, Arizona where her mother was making a new life of her own with her new husband. After a divorce, and with her young son from the marriage with her, Delmastro decided that she wanted to return to nursing school, and that her mother had to support she and her child as she pursued it.
Delmastro and her son turned up on the doorstep of her recently divorced mother who had also left North Carolina and headed west but mom landed in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. Naturally the door was opened, but i wouldn't be long before Delmastro's mother would have concerns regarding the safety of her grandson and the behavior as well as he life choices Delmastro was again putting herself into in a bad medicine way. As tension grew and arguments and conflicts emerged, Delmastro began seeking a way out into a life SHE wanted. This is when Delmastro decided to re-enroll in school and resume a career in nursing, but too, began setting her sights on married men as an easier way to obtain the expensive things and have the money to spend at whim than the school grants weren't providing quick enough.
One evening while jumping from one married man to another, a very intoxicated Delmastro in time she came to know KM president Michael Minter who was married and had a young daughter of his own but who was going through some struggles in his marriage slipping them toward separation after the couple lost another daughter to complications during the pregnancy. Michael was instructing for Brausa Martial Arts academy at the time as well as involved in cage fighting above and underground. It would be this and from among his students that his path would come into contact with Delmastro as Delmastro was dating one of his students who was also at the time married and who was not separated from his wife but having an affair behind her back with Delmastro.
In time, Delmastro would set her sights on jumping Minter's fence, which took some time and additional strategizing, including befriending his sister who was also atending nursing school in Phoenix with Delmastro. Finally after a time, one evening Delmastro finally saw and seized the opportunity and made her way into the arms of Minter. This naturally brought Minter many angles of strife and hardship ranging from his wife as well as his student, and continues to date to strain the relationship between he and his sister.
When Minter hoped things couldn't get any worse, they did - his little brother went missing and was presumed deceased from local and federal law enforcement. Also too, his wife grabbed their young daughter and split completely out of state without so much as a word or warning. These travisties ultimately pushed Minter beyond his mental breaking point and the decision was made by he and his mother that Minter needed to get far away from Arizona and especially so from Delmastro who had no regard or consideration for his sufferings and was instead focused on digging her claws deep into Minter's life for selfish gain and reason.
Finally it began undeniably revealing that Delmastro had drug and alcohol abuse issues when one night after pursuing Minter to no avail, Delmastro decided to get drunk and use despite having her young son alone with her. While drunk and extremely intoxicated on methamphetamines', Delmastro strapped her young son into his car seat and proceeded to erratically drive across town... until ultimately she lost control, plowing through a steel constructed bus stop, smashing through and crashing into a Korean War combat veteran's memorial tree so hard it literally took the tree out from the ground. Delmastro then sent the vehicle into several flips until finally, as you can see in the photo, the vehicle came to it's final stop, upside down in the middle of Cave Creek Road. Police at the scene estimate Delmastro was doing "a least 90MPH" when she caught air on a turn at the top of a hill and ultimately los control, resulting in the accident.
Expressing only concern for covering up her intoxication and displaying such a blatant disregard for the injuries of her young son, Minter knew then that Delmastro was not someone he wanted or needed in his life. As the legalities pursued, Minter excused himself from Delmastro and in fact, from the entire state of Arizona where the vas majority of his family still resides to date, but apparently his exit was not swift enough and within a month of realizing he had left, Delmastro went to Minter's family announcing that she was pregnant by Minter and demanding that he "do right by" she and the unborn child, which turned out to be twins, same position she took with her first child's father who agreed to marry her because of the pregnancy as she commanded..
Minter agreed to "do" as right as he could by Delmastro, who at that point was in the process of losing full legal rights to her injured son but he made it adamantly clear that marriage was not an option for their table as he remains in love and legally married to his wife of 28 years. Delmastro has Yet to come to terms and respect that level of love and commitment.
Convincing herself it was she who was being wrongfully victimized by the courts and determined her unborn child was "God's replacement" for the son being taken and kept away, Delmastro turned back to the drugs and drinking that had cost her her son and began consuming extreme amounts, so much so that the twins were born extremely premature with dangerous life threatening complications and had to be kept over a month in the hospital in NICU until their health insurance ran out.
From the birth forward, Delmastro became a rollercoaster of erratic and unpredictable behaviors to extreme to justly articulate. Believing it to be post-pardon, Minter remained willing to support Delmastro and his new family despite the mind-blowing twists and turns including frequent outbursts of extreme physical violence occurring against him raging from bits and scratches to knocking out the vas majority of his teeth and even Delmastro stabbing him on two separate occasions. Several times though not by Minter's doing, law enforcers intervened and of them, several times police felt it best to take Delmastro to the hospital where she was diagnosed with having paranoid schizophrenia on op of her drug and alcohol addictions.
Little did Minter know, the combination resulted in Delmastro being in a self-induced psychosis making her even more dangerous and unpredictable than she was already revealing. At one point the state intervened and told Minter that if he did not accept a "plea deal" and plead guilty to a domestic assault upon Delmastro, who had not a single mark mind you, that the state would take the children and put them into the states child foster system... and so he did without hesitation though he knew he wasn't the villan but instead Delmastro's victim. It wasn't long after his release he would come to find out Delmastro had been continuing her party-girl lifestyle and too, having sexual relations with several of Minter's male friends in exchange for her addictive substances, and though he had affirmation that this was all going on, especially including right in from of his young twins reduced him to a state of helplessness- but with a no contact order between them ultimately there was little to nothing he could do about it or to shield his twins from it because it would be concluded any efforts ""legally" were "retaliatory" by the states declared "victim"- Amanda Delmastro.
Fortunately for Minter this was the turning point to which the state and it's law enforcers would have no choice but to come to the realization that he problem and criminal of he two was in face Delmastro and not Minter at all. Several encounters and attempted comittments to the mental hospital later but to no successful avail as Delmastro would REFUSE treatment and return to her life living homeless in a park filled with partiers and drug dealers, the state stepped in and called on Minter to claim and raise the children far from Delmastro, to which he has every since with no further incidents or danger encompassing them.
Minter continued to do what he could to help Try to keep Delmastro safe from the harm and dangers of her chosen lifestyle, including supplies such as a tent and camp stove, blankets, food and dry clothing etc. and encouraging her to stop her addictions and o get help for he sake of their children, Delmastro got to the point where no only would she outwardly DENY having any children but would become extremely physically violent with any who stated the contrary. This life of psychosis and denial would go on for the next 8 years until one fall her illegal camp spot would be flooded by the river and carry away everything she had accumulated. Minter and his church decided to take the wet and destitute Delmastro into the church sanctuary, where clean and dry clothes and hot food was provided, and efforts were made to counsel Delmastro, who was still suffering active psychosis. When meth and alcohol were not tolerated, Delmastro began acting out in unfathomable ways such as sobbing all through the night while urinating in the middle of the floor in front of multiple church members including young children also saying at the sanctuary.
Finally one day Delmastro attempted to beat the churches spiritual leader with a cast iron skillet and attempting to stab another member with a butcher knife, church leaders concluded that he best and safest option possible for Delmastro was to take her to the VA hospital in Oregon beings she had been in the service and honorably discharged because she had gotten pregnant with her first son.
For whatever their reason, Delmastro was shifted over into the state's care. The state called the church and requested a couple of members travel to Portland, Oregon to testify on behalf of the state so they could retain custody and the authority to force intervention for her mental conditions. The church agreed and a couple of members did go and testify, including per their specific request that Minter be among them who did. Ultimately the states court ruled and Delmastro was committed to the state mental hospital for slightly over 6 months which Delmastro completed by force and no by personal choice. Shortly after the state transitioned her into a transitional living and initiated social security disability benefits for her, Delmastro contacted an ole party buddy and went AWOL. Non-bias eye witnesses reported seeing Delmastro in known drug houses and seeing her provide sexual services in exchange for methamphetamines'.
The state filed a missing persons report and possibly even a bench warrant of sorts, and short after Delmastro returned into the states program and systems where she's been given a practically free living from the state since with the exception of an internet bill, monthly supplemental security oncome and benefits, food stamps, even a gym membership free o her, and furnishings including a big screen tv.
The downside of this is that by Delmastro's own omissions, she has and continues to receive only basic minimal actual "treatment" for only one of her conditions, zero treatment for her second at all, and nothing regarding her personal drug and alcohol choices or habits. According to her, all she has to do to maintain this free living is to continue to take the ineffective medication prescribed to her and show up for her scheduled counseling sessions as regimented, again at bare minimal and ineffective intervals.
Apparently our guess is that perhaps the state didn't calculate in that the second of Delmastro's genetic mental conditions, the one they've yet began attempting to treat, is in fact the most severe of her genetic conditions, or that actually attaining successful treatment carries a ratio of slim to none. The FDA only authorizes a single prescription medication as being effective at all for such condition, and it mandates sincere effort on the patient's part meaning NO detrimental substances, especially Delmastro's substances of choice and too, inpatient regulation.
Even hen as we say, the ratio of successful treatment Is slim to none and that's determined in patients who Haven't self-induced psychosis levels with he substances Delmastro has nor consistently for more than 2 decades or for the duration lengths as Delmastro has for the majority of her life.
Now that her burden on the state continues to reveal, and the state along with a particular county in it has decided it is time Minter PAY for getting away with being a minister and official of a church they hate,
