Educational Certification

Kautantowit's Mecautea School offers certification to students who pass their final exams with a 75% or higher. Certification is recommended for students who would like to use KM School as a reference for employment. The goal of Certification is so for example If you are applying for a job at a dispensary or a cultivation garden, our hope is that our certification program will give you the advantage in the selection process over someone who has NOT received certification.

Certification shows that you have taken our courses and have proved that you have met our standards of knowledge in the cannabis industry. Once receiving certification from us, you are encouraged to list KM School under Both "Education" as well as under “special training”. Dispensaries can then call and verify that you are a student in good standing.

You do NOT have to be interested in our certification to seek education from our school, and if your Not interested in canna-business employment but Do want to learn about Cannabis, Self Defense, Tribal History or any other or our educational resource offerings, please know that you too are still Highly encouraged and honorably welcome to take our classes for your personal enrichment and enlightenment.

What does receiving certification get me?

Whichever route you choose to follow, (assuming you pass our final examination and meet our attendance requirements of coarse,) you can begin listing KM School in your “Special Skills" as well as in the "Educational” section of your resume, something Questionable when it comes to all other cannabis schools popping up across our nation.

You may give our contact information including phone number to prospective employers to verify that you are a Graduate student in good standing.

There are three option levels of certification at Kautantowit's Mecautea School, which are:

Semester Certification (Highest level)
Seminar Certification
Online Class Certification

The difference between Semester and Seminar certification are in that:

Semester students have demonstrated the dedication to come back to class for 10 to 14 consecutive weeks.
Semester students have a higher and verifiable rate of comprehension through homework assignments and mid-term examinations.
Online certification is another option ONAC KM School offers as an option.
Semester and Seminar students who pass will receive an original signed certification in the mail. Please contact Student Services with questions.
KM School does recognize that not everyone has the time/money required for the semester class, nor that everyone able to meet in person for 14 consecutive weeks for a few hour classroom setting.
This is why we offer the weekend seminar certification.
