Maternity
Pre-Birth
Because KM is structured in traditional way and viewed as it's own unique matriarchal being and the official "mother", great care, attention, responsibility, effort and obligation is required to be involved as soon as official conception is initiated as well as will be honorable receptive efforts be necessary from the fetus IF a successful birthing is to officially take place. Local chapters (child churches) are the backbone of Kautantowit's Mecautea (KM) and provide members with vital local support.
Chapter meetings allow members to come together and share resources, seek advice from those who have had a similar experience, and hear presentations on topics of interest, all while enjoying the fellowship of others who work in church administration.

One of the aspects on your part as the prospect, is to determine and proclaim your:
We cannot emphasize Enough that though KM as a whole honors and respects ALL spiritual beings and creeds, meaning conscious and sub-conscious daily ways of life, we strongly Encourage the unique spirit of each individual child church be preserved and expressed in a good medicine way...
We say this because at this point another aspect you should begin to contemplate is:
Acquisition of truth through diligent study, observation, prayer, song, dance, guidance from Elders, and through the right application of wisdom and of the gifts of the Creator in which each individual child church of KM must strive to attain for themselves.
.
As you hopefully already know, KM is a MATRIARCHAL based church as far as it's nature and outward disposition, but, make no mistake in that we are BEAR CLAN... and a protective mother bear you Don't want to mess with - the name tells you so... Kautantowit (Great Creator's) Mecautea (Warrior Soldiers who FIGHT of Evil and the Enemy... KM... so All of our Children are born of WARRIOR lines and if push comes to shove they Will resist, protect and defend... our people and our kin.

A society’s sacred totem not only represents the clan, but is also a part of the clan. The totem and the clan are manifestations of social symmetry; in many ways they parallel one another. Therefore a culture that glorifies the Great Mother greatly reflects the emotions of love, nurturance, affection, and emotional expression.

Some of our children are Matriarchal in their nature as well while some are also Patriarchal in their nature, Like with Bachofen’s concept of Mother Right pertaining to the celebration of motherhood and mother lineage favored over fatherhood and father lineage as the “natural” way that societies were formed. Mother Right refers to societies in which children were named after their mothers instead of their fathers, and genealogical records “dealt entirely with the maternal line, and the status of children was defined solely in accordance with that of the mother” (Bachofen 1861:70). Mother Right conveys a special significance to the concept of womanhood and the prestige women held in ancient societies, and it must be clear that this concept of Mother Right “is not confined to any particular people but marks a cultural stage” (Bachofen 1861:71). A cultural stage in which women, much like man in patriarchal societies, took the lead and the ruling of the collective
Some of our children are Matriarchal in their nature as well while some are also Patriarchal in their nature. What this means is in the matriarchal society, polytheism, meaning the worship of several deities, is widely practiced. The mother goddesses are the principal divinities, and male gods are worshiped, only as their consorts. Furthermore, the matriarchal religion is also pantheistic in nature, believing in the omnipresence and omnipotence of the Goddess and Her oneness with universe and nature.
The patriarchal religion is monotheistic (worship of only one God or entity), or what can be called “modified monotheistic“ in nature. Here, gods essentially have a hierarchy, with the major ones occupying a more important place than the lesser ones. Moreover, the male gods are principal divinities, and the mother goddesses are worshiped as their consorts.
Patriarchy (from Greek: Patria meaning father and arché meaning rule) refers to a society in which male members predominate in positions of power. The term "patriarchy" is also used in systems of ranking male leadership in certain hierarchical churches or religious bodies, such as the Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox churches. Johan Jakob Bachofen (1815-1887) was a Swiss anthropologist and sociologist whose 1861 book, Mother Right: An Investigation of the Religious and Juridical Character of Matriarchy in the Ancient World is best known for his radical claims that matriarchy preceded patriarchy, and that matriarchy is the source of human society, religion, and morality.

Nature of Worship
Worship in the matriarchal religion is extremely joyful and enjoyable. Owing to the fact that the matriarchal religion is based on the ideology of pantheism, every task that people perform is considered to be sacred, and hence, is regarded as worship of the goddess. This is why KM does not require nor is required to have a "Brick and Mortar" structure or building... as the sayings long gone: "Nature is our "Religion" and the Earth is our "Church."

In the patriarchal religion, worship is very serious. There are various myths with regard to the wrath of gods, and how several men were cursed because of their wrong deeds. Owing to this, the main emphasis of the patriarchal religion is always on the appeasement of gods, rather than pure, selfless worship.

Matriarchy is a very open social system, which does not have any hard and fast moral code of conduct that people are expected to follow. Morality, in matriarchy, is a very personal aspect, wherein people are allowed to have their own way as long as they are not harming or disturbing others.

Patriarchy lays down a very strict moral code of conduct, which people are expected to follow, come what may. These rules are essentially governed by religion, government, etc. Patriarchy always seeks to teach people the difference between the good and bad, right and wrong, and so on.
Nature is Worship
Worship is action... it contains energy and vibration guided to higher realms seeking benefit for the greater good from the Great Divine. KM remains in the position of assuring your right to individuality in perception as well as being and encourage you to decide to the who's, what's when's where's and how's you as your own independent child wants to grow up in and around your local communities and for you to determine what and how you and your congregation members can prove a beneficial asset and resource for and beyond the bounds of the KM spiritual tribal family.
KM ensures that your right of choice in honorable practitioning are preserved and respected, as well as affirmed should their later arise question. as to your free right of choice as to worship and be a loud active voice demanding such be respected while we rise with you to help ensure boundary preservation and proper subject jurisdiction. is maintained in accordance to the Laws of Nature and of the Great Divine.
