About Grand Master

Gerald L. Timm

Grand-Master Gerald Timm is among our most treasured jewels of the Wolf Band of Kautantowit's Mecautea, and especially so in our Tactical Preservation Training Program.

Attaining his first of many black belts in 1973, Grand Master Timm is ranked 5th degree in the International Philippine Martial Arts Federation (IPMAF) under Great Grand Master Ernesto A. Presas Sr. Gerald is highly renoun as being among the top "American Federation Representatives" of the Pacific Northwest and Co-Hosted many seminar with Ernesto for decades.

Gerald founded the "American Arjunkenka Karate Association" (AAKA) in 1975, opening his dojo doors as an official Self Defense Instructor in the central Willamette Valley of Oregon and has become renown treasure in and beyond the community since. Predominantly Gerald's training system was foundationed in the IPMAF curriculum but too, added additional training styles and systems with it to make the AAKA the one-of-a-kind mixed martial arts training option of it's time, paving the way for all since "New Age" martial arts training systems currently accessible to date.

In 1989, Gerald changed the associations name to "The American Arjukenka Street Combat Association" and gained the attention of ESPN when his students entered into competition per the request of Maurice Smith and won an elimination tournament against Smith's own team in the late 1990's in Washington State!

American Arjukenka Street Combat System, same as is our Mecautea Tactical Preservation Training Program,  both are a Reality Based Mixed Martial Art (R.B.M.M.A.) which combines Arnis de Mano , Ju - Jitsu , Kenpo Karate with concepts from multiple Southeast Asian Fighting Systems and Kung- Fu (Eight Animal Hung Kune) and more.

Gerald is respected by a great many masters of their time, ranging Grand-Master Ed Parker, Dan Iasantos, to former world heavyweight champion Maurice Smith, and many in between. Gerald has had the privelege of training with many greats from Chuck Norris

Another unknown fact that's interesting to note, is that Gerald is among the many cousins of "The Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddie Piper, best known s a wrestler for both Portland Wrestling and the WWF turned WWE through his fathers mother.
