Steven Cherms
Master Instructor Steven Cherms is among our most treasured jewels of the Wolf Band of ONAC Kautantowit's Mecautea as he solidifies the confederation of Wolf Band between the independent sapling ONAC KM (now just known as KM) of the Pacific Northwest and ONAC Wahupta Oyate independent sapling of Central California, and especially so in our Mecautea Tactical Preservation Training Program.
With over 17 years of devotion to Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Master Instructor Cherms is ranked black belt.
Steven is additionally ranked:
6th degree Black Belt in Tae kwon do.
5th degree Black Belt in Karate.
2nd degree Black Belt in taecokmusole.
1st degree Black Belt in Aikido,
1st degree black belt status in Japanese Jiu-jitsu,
1st degree black belt in East-West kobe Khan system.
1st degree black belt in escrima under, and a
1st degree black belt rank in jeet kune do.
Steven founded the "American Mixed Martial Arts Academy" (AMMA) in 1989, opening his dojo doors as an official Self Defense Instructor in the central California and has become renown treasure in and beyond the community since.
Our Mecautea Tactical Preservation Training Program, is a perfect fit with the American Mixed Martial Arts Academy as both are a Reality Based Mixed Martial Art (R.B.M.M.A.) which combines both Presas styles of Filipino Martial Arts systems together and thensome!
Steven is respected by a great many martial artists of their time, especially after having knocked Tank Abbott out cold during a match, but is even more respected for his career directions in bounty hunting as well as being a professional body guard in both the states of California and Hawaii.
