TSPT Basic Training
Welcome to our Self Preservation Training Program!
As hopefully you already know by now, we are the Wolf Band of The Kautantowit's Mecautea (KM) Native American Church. We Highly Encourage you to check us out as well as KM as a whole as we are unlike ANY you have yet to see when it comes to the blending of "Church" and "Mixed Martial Arts." If you're not, we highly encourage you to take a stroll around our site here and check out what we're about and then decide whether or not it's something you Might decide to be beneficial to and for you.
The reason (in short) that we're able to be and do so is seen in the translation of our tribal name:
"Kautantowit's" = Great Creator's + "Mecautea" = Warrior Soldiers who fight off evil and the enemy.
The enemies of Great Creators are those who Choose to stand in opposition of Creator's Creation, including especially of coarse our encompassing web of life.
Movement is universal, no we cannot emphasize Enough that one single style of self defense or martial arts system "has it all." Students learn what works in a particular situation, against a particular opponent, and when another technique or series of techniques would be more practical and effective most will find themselves "lost", which is something we don't EVER want to feel our students feeling, especially in the moment where their decisions are going to result in literal life or death of they or another depending on them to help them survive.
KM Wolf Band focus our perception of initial education where discipline in which only "natural weapons" are used so that the students natural instincts are developed in a way that hopefully they can never be “caught off guard.” When we speak of "natural weapons" we are referring to the individual students own personal body, mind and spirit. Training students TSP not only develops the physical and technical skill to successfully execute both defensive and offensive moves, but also the ability to “read” your opponents “combative mind”.
The ability to plan your moves and anticipate all counters and re-counter moves perfecting the strategies of throws, take downs, sweeps, body control and positioning, before they occur, provide you with both a physical and mental challenge that promote your growth as an individual and as a martial artist.
students are taught the ranges of combat, and how to easily flow from each range. Kicking range, into hand range, hand range into close quarter trapping and grappling range, close quarter trapping range, into grappling or ground fighting range. The use of weapons, both defensively and offensively are taught in an easy to remember and efficient method of application.
So, below, we are going to show you a glimpse into some of the training system methods and techniques strategically blended into the Exclusive Tactical Self Preservation Training (TSPT) program by Professor Wolf Brother Minter by providing you with an example video which We refer to as being the "First Steps" in the TSPT wisdom attainment process. It is 1 minute and 48 seconds in length and though might seem as being "Too Basic" it's actually because it's truly That essential that we Intentionally emphasis our focus on it.
However, we are not going to simply attach the video here, instead we are going to "Back Door" you into the Wolf Band's Training program itself so that you can See how our training options are set up for the convenience and best benefit of our member students.
Once students get the basic first steps down, this is a good example of one of many basic combination of techniques you can do to expand on to demobilize your attacker that we teach as partt of our Basic Training.
Here is a brief clip that shows from TSP as shown immediately above, that we teach with great emphasis for our women students to ensure they confidently know how to ward off attackers which mainly prove to be men.... hence why we refer to it as the "Jimmy Kick"
Though many (especially men) feel it is a below-the-belt method and would Not be permittable in a ring or cage fight, it is and continues to prove effective when women are found in positions of attempted sexual assaults.
