Complete Book of Enoch
Thank you for coming together with us today as we focus our attention on the wisdom to be had from within the Book of Enoch, which was written during the second century B.C.E. and Should by all rights be being taught in great detail by all of the organized religions who encompass the God of the "Holy Bible".
The book of Enoch is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works that we as Kautantowit's Mecautea enjoy sharing with the people because there's So much Knowledge to be had, especially in regards to some of the most contriversial issues still tripping the christians up and ignorantly dividing and infringing upon us still today, such as the significance of astrology and it's influence upon and within our individual and collective lives. Enoch CONFIRMS that the wheel of Astrology is in fact not ONLY a viable tool of "God" but in fact is according to him, the ONLY things BETWEEN the throne of the Jesus and his father the almighty God in the heavens!
Enoch was Chosen by Creator according to the account to ascend to the heavens Without physically dying first, the only fleshly living himan being ever Allowed to visit the heavens while still alive to tell others about it, and in great detail according to his kids he did.
The book of Enoch probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth. Interspersed with this material are quasi-scientific digressions on calendrical systems, geography, cosmology, astronomy, and meteorology.
The Book of Enoch (also Ge'ez: መጽሐፈ ሄኖክ mets’iḥāfe hēnoki) is an ancient Jewish religious work, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. Enoch warrants special attention for the unique material it holds, such as the origins of supernatural demons and giants, why some angels fell from heaven, details explaining why the Great Flood was morally necessary, and prophetic exposition of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah.
The older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) of the text are estimated to date from about 300 BCE, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably to the 1st century BCE.
It is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel. Most Christian denominations and traditions may accept the Books of Enoch as having some historical or theological interest, but they generally regard the Books of Enoch as noncanonical or noninspired. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, but not by any other Christian groups.
It is wholly extant only in the Ge'ez language, with Aramaic fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and a few Greek and Latin fragments. For this and other reasons, the traditional Ethiopian belief is that the original language of the work was Ge'ez, whereas modern scholars argue that it was first written in either Aramaic or Hebrew; Ephraim Isaac suggests that the Book of Enoch, like the Book of Daniel, was composed partially in Aramaic and partially in Hebrew.
