About KM...
Human Beings have long sought to enrich their lives and to awaken to their full natures as created being, to establish and maintain a "Connection" with Great Creator, This has been our species goal throughout All of our previous generations. Their Creed (Way of daily life) with that focal goal, became to include "customs", ways of Living Life through spiritual practices including prayer, meditation, mind-body disciplines, service, ritual, community liturgy, holy-day and seasonal observances, and rites of passage.
Today, society defines such Spirituality based ways of daily life in mind, body and spirit, as being "Primary religious practices", or in short, our Creator given Right to our freedoms of belief, speech, and intelligence. Only because those are intended, or especially likely to bring about exceptional states of consciousness... Enlightenment such as attained by the direct experience of and with the divine, of cosmic unity, or of boundless awareness does bring about conflict and the attempted infringement upon we the people who actively and outwardly display such practice.
We, as Kautantowit's Mecautea do not Judge nor condemn no more than we set out to infringe nor discourage Any Member from Any "religious" belief practice Any Members individual right of choice in regards to their own individual creed. We do Not require Conversion, we do Not force Indoctrination, all we Require is that all are given proper RESPECT,and that ALL show such respect for Our Ways when KM members come together, especially for ceremony, services, events and fellowship. We also encourage our members to remain Consciously aware that many view us as a reflection upon the tribal culture and so maintain a higher respect standard to ensure an honorable conduct is seen.
In short, we as the creation called Human Being all each perfectly created in our own unique ways. We are one of, and in turn to be one With the whole of Creation. How we do so determines our eternal standing position with our Great Creator and too, reflects upon the honor of our ancestor relations, as well as impact on the entire web of creation. As living beings, whatever our species or difference within it, are and have rights to creation and to our individual relationship with our Great Creator. We see no gain in further adding to the discouragement and damaging of it, especially understanding the Importance of it, and too, the shame our ancestor relations suffer if we intentionally Do.
All creation is our inheritance... given from Creator through our ancestor relations that we Borrow from our descendants, and all of the rest of creations as well. All that we do, and Don't do WILL and Does affect the whole of the web of our collective existence and in turn creates as well as dictates our obligations and expectations to honorably preserve them... one and all... especially considering it's Our Species doing the most damage negatively affecting them!
The birth of Kautantowit’s Mecautea (KM) is a beautiful and memorizing story that in all honesty, even we cannot alone do it proper justice… but for you we will try, just know and keep in mind that no one can articulate it in it’s proper beauty other than the very core founders themselves, which we are going to introduce you to now, as without them… and those that through and among them who were warrior Enough to weave everyone together and make it happen for the greater good of All living breathing beings upon and including our beloved mother globe, for which without her their could nor would be no physical earthly existence or life as we’ve come to know it within Creators endless webs of and within creation.
The old ones say that to smoke is wakan (holy). The smoke you take in represents the spirits of everything and all of the prayers you put into the pipe. When you breathe in the smoke, you are asking to become one with everything that is, and to be joined by the spirit of all creation, {To become whole }." it is in this way that our prayers are heard, and answered. it is up to us to decide how we understand the message we have been given. but we must learn to listen with her heart, in order to understand what the great mystery is communicating to us.

Reverend Cherms established the second ever cannabis rooted church in the continental United States in the year 1979 and remains the oldest cannabis church still operating to date!

Per Netcher Kemet (Pr Ntr Kmt) is an ancient Black African religion that originated in the Nile Valley and has undergone (and continues to undergo) many changes over thousands of years of religious history.

The Hawai'i Cannabis Ministry
Roger was ordained by the Reverend Dennis Shields into the Religion Of Jesus Church in early June of 2000, on June 19, 2000 Roger was licensed to marry people by the Department Of Health, State of Hawaii, specifically as a ‘Cannabis Sacrament‘ minister and found "The Hawai'i Cannabis Ministry in Hilo, Hawaii.
Mendo Spiritual Remedies
Reverend Les Crane, 39, owner of Mendo Spiritual Remedies in Laytonville and Hemp Plus Ministry in Ukiah. Crane opened the Hemp Plus church and dispensary in Ukiah in September 2005. In mid-October, he was fencing with Ukiah's city government, promising not to sell marijuana but claiming patient necessity for the drug. Crane spent $7,000 of his own money to donate 350 turkeys to the local food bank. He had also begun sponsoring a teen center in Laytonville.
Les was shot to death at his Laytonville home in a home invasion November 18, 2005. The investigation has disclosed it appears to be robbery motivated as an undisclosed amount of currency and processed cannabis was stolen.
Liberty Bell Temple

Liberty Bell Temple II, inc. Opened Sept 15th, 2008 in Hollywood, California. Liberty Bell Temple is a registered cannabis temple, its members are both medical spiritual users of cannabis, thus we are a LEGAL CANNABIS TEMPLE (1st Amendment).

Greenfaith Ministry
Greenfaith Ministry was started by two brothers, Rev. Ken & Rev. Brandon Baker aka rev.420, in 2004. In 2004 it was founded by two brothers, they were then ordained through both branches of the Universal_Life_Church, 2005 seattle washington and 2006 modesto california. The ministers then obtained state issued medical marijuana license in 2006; thanks to colorado amendment 20), and joined the THC_Ministry in 2006.

Green faith ministry is a religion which considers cannabis to be a medicinal/spiritual sacrament. Members base their practices on what they see as an eclectic mixture of ancient wisdom, modern science, the enlightening of ones self, mixed with the healing properties of cannabis to the world and its inhabitants.
KM's Sachem
KM's founding Sachem actually has been gifted, honored with and Earned many credentials of recognition from many, and has been gifted titles such as "Medicine Woman", "Healer", "Reverend", "Priestess/ High Priestess","Roadman" etc. including Multiple different Native American "Indian" church organizations, and honored as "Turtle Mother" by the Grandmothers prior and for the Water is Life Ceremony which begot ultimately, Standing Rock in Cannonball, North Dakota against the Dakota Access pipeline... killers of those Black Snakes threatening the water source of several tribes and also threatening to our sacred Black Hills.

Our Internal Structure
Among the most Important of KM's documents all Members and Especially Prospect members of KM absolutely NEED to read and completely comprehend are the Moral Compass Code of moral and ethical conduct, first and foremost, followed by our Constitution and the KM Bylaws... because it is mandated that you Agree and Abide By them throughout the entire duration of your being and maintaining Good Standing status and credential by KM, which is determined by You and your choice of conduct and actions from moment to passing moment.

KM's Moral Compass Code
The Moral Compass Code is the true North on the KM Compass when it comes to moral and ethical conduct that is Expected by All persons engaging with KM members whether they themselves are members of KM or not, especially in situations such as when at or involved with KM public events and gatherings. It is the outward reflection of your And KM's INTEGRITY and we have ZERO TOLERANCE for those who willfully deviate from it, and even unintentionally deviate from it Any who CANNOT Align to the KM Moral Compass need not stand with or near us because IT guides our honor to our ancestors and Great Creator, and They are in position to see and know all whether seen or unseen by we the living beings.
KM's Constitution
Normally the constitution is the document of choice for churches and other organizations as well as many corporations as it is the broader body of mutually agreed upon principles and purposeful structure that govern the affairs and action of the entity whatever it may be. However, KM is structured as to be its own individual BEING exactly polar opposite of what the powers that be did by issuing us "Birth Certificates", like a "goose and gander" thing as far as the founders of KM describe it. Hence why throughout our pages and sites and even hear in our reference to KM, descriptive words such as "Mother", "Child/Children", "Uncles" and references to our elders and ancestors collectively in addition to Great Creator being focal emphasis.
This is ALSO why you see proceeding KM's Constitution is listed KM's Moral Compass Code, because it is by the moral and ethical compass of a parent, family and other "role-models" enlighten and educate from, and KM insists such be done in Good Medicine way for the whole, including and beyond we the human peoples. The bylaws are subordinate rules adopted by KM to augment the constitution. Sometimes there is no constitution, so bylaws serve the purpose, however all run consistent with one another and for us, in that preferable order in the minds and hearts of ALL of our members instilled as second nature.

Sometimes there is no constitution, so bylaws serve the purpose, however KM does have a Constitution which conjoins with our Moral Compass Code so this Should be giving the strong impression as to how IMPORTANT our INTEGRITY Is to KM as well as to the whole of our spiritual tribal family as well as for the sake and benefit of our confederated as well as our associates who are as our extended relations... our cousins essentially.
Our "Legal" Disposition
The first and foremost of supreme authority empowering KM is our Great Creator, whom has given us all Inalienable birth right inheritance and "dominion" over ALL of our beloved Mother Earth as living breathing beings, though with such comes great obligation, expectation and Responsibilities which we know and honorably Accept.
According to the nations "book of choice", Great Creator ALSO specifically entrusted we the spiritual leaders of "Church" with not only the sacred foods and breads of the "Gods", but also over their Fountain of Living Waters as well as over the whole of the "Flock", in other words, Creator entrusted Us over what's now defined as being the "Private Aspect of Law".
Next, we turn to the Universal Law of Human Rights which clearly reaffirms our disposition as KM to the above, and also expands on both aspects in a protective spirit.
In conjunction with the Universal Law of Human Rights declaration by the United Nations, KM also applies four additional Treaties signed between our native nation (The United States of America Inc.) and the United Nations as well which further affirm and strive to protect our individual as well as collective rights as "Church", especially and specifically in regards to our rights to the sacred medicines (foods, breads, fountains of living waters etc.) REGARDLESS of any governments attempted regulation or contrary disposition.

Proceeding down the ladder into the government level chain of commands, we next turn to the written rules of law of the United States of America Inc. beginning at their initial proclamation of having "authority" over the land and subsequently over we the people born and/or living here, however we as KM do so starting at the Beginning, not at the first "Amendment" - we look to their preamble which clearly reaffirms that No wirtten "Rule of law" can SUPERCEED the laws of Nature, aka "The Great Divine", aka who We refer to as "Great Creator" and who many refer commonly to as "God" as that is THEE MOST IMPORTANT THING WRITTEN- not Just for we the "Church" but for we the individual as well as collective PEOPLE!
