KM's Grand Coven
Because we are Creator's Creation,
Living Breathing Human Beings...
Children of Earth and Sky...
and we harm None, we are Allowed
to and do as we will
Welcome to the KM's Grand Coven!
KM's Grand Coven is among the main root of such spiritual Covenant of Kautantowit's Mecautea in which foundations our claim to the spiritual and religious beliefs, customs and practices of our sacred hoop beyond those of "Organized Religion" meaning the most commonly seen and found brick and mortar church houses! As children of the earth, KM's Grand Coven maintains strong healthy and deep root in the importance of All things "Earth Based" and in humbly honoring such connection wherever all it may lead grateful for all the gifts and wisdom we find along our way.

Many people today often tend to conclude that a coven is to do with "Witchcraft" and "paganism" and because of that ultimately much important wisdom has been cast aside with disregard mainly out of nothing more than fear instilled by intentional misinformation and out-right propaganda and often has been labeled "satanism" and all within it "the devil's tools", things most KM members across the board are all to familiar with as far as oppressors twisted tactics have long been infringed upon our ancestors. As human beings, KM continuously strives to seek and find Truth and so we do not let such mis-labels become an obstacles that thwart we or our members from learning the history and lore from our ancestors passed, it is our history and therefore our individual as well as collective right as human beings!

The word “pagan” is far more complicated, and can be interpreted several different ways. For a long time the most common definition of the word pagan read something like this “anyone who is not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew.” This definition is still used by a lot of people, and when those people stumble upon a faith outside of the Abrahamic Tradition they label it “pagan” by default. This definition nearly matches the use of the word pagan in some anthropological circles. Many anthropologists will label native religions as pagan, even if that religious tradition has no commonality or similarity with others also deemed in the "pagan" category. The original meaning of the word pagan means “country dweller,” and comes from the Latin word “paganus.” Whether subconsciously or as a result of the word pagan’s origins, a lot of people refer to old or rustic practices as pagan.
Unlike many covens operating today, KM's Grand Coven is NOT a "Women's Only" group, we welcome All human beings to become members and take part in celebrating mother earth and father sky and in appreciating as well as celebrating all they've woven into the great hoop of earthly life, here, passed and too all yet to come. Within our coven we Do however have gender specific ceremonies and gatherings in addition to whole group rituals and do our best to coordinate them all accordingly.

We believe that a fundamental purpose of our practice is to offer spiritual service and community to others. We strive to lead by example, and to nurture love and respect for Nature, while fostering greater understanding of our Wiccan faith in the modern world.
We are honored that you're here and we hope that you find our coven's site enlightening as well as spiritually beneficial as that is our desired intention. Please feel welcomed to take a look around and check us out and see if KM's Grand Coven might be something you'd like to consider becoming involved with as a member. Please know that as with the whole of KM membership is absolutely 100% FREE of charge and all are welcomed as well as highly encouraged to petition should you like to become an official member. Blessed Be~
We would like to begin by clarifying what a and our Grand covenant is, so to make sure we all remain on the same page. According to the dictionary, a covenant is a formal alliance or agreement made by Great Creator with a religious community and or humanity in general as a whole. KM is our whole, first and foremost, and we declare ALL human fathomed culture, creed, belief and practitioning system is Our inherent birth rite so long as we live, breathe and exist upon our beloved Mother Earth...period.
Within our Coven aspect, KM as the whole so established and manifested the KM Grand Coven into it's right of existence.Within the KM Grand Coven are many smaller covenants operating separately as well as collectively together, depending on the craft need and purpose. Every coven operates differently. Some have well defined leadership roles, while others accomplish their work through consensus. Some groups meet indoors at the home of a member, but most choose to meet outdoors in a place where they feel comfortable and can commute with nature. Public parks are a perfect place. Everyone can lie in the grass or on blankets and get comfortable. If it rains, most parks have a covered picnic area where you can sit and continue your meeting. Areas with water and/or trees are particularly nice.

We heal through the arts (music and dance, visual arts, writing, etc.), through volunteering for animal rights and welfare, and through ecological regeneration of the Earth using Permaculture and other cooperative practices. We strengthen and heal ourselves by attunting to the rhythms of nature, the moon and seasonal cycles, and we worship the energies and spirits of our Ancestors, the Nature Spirits, the Good Folk, and the Gods.

We provide healing experiences for our fellow pathwalkers through the use of meditation, journey work, and trance, done within the Shadowfolk Tradition's ritual format. KM's Covens meet outdoors in powerfully applicable settings whenever possible to better connect with Nature's sacred energy.

Members of multiple Covens in and beyond KM work together to facilitate public rituals, host workshops, and teach our study programs as members of our Teaching Collective including within the KM School. Elders in participating Covens include some who have been practicing together for more than 25 years. Each of the KM Coven family have its own unique blend of magic, expressed through service to fellow Temple members, our wider communities, and the Craft. We also socialize outside of the coven exploring museums; attending lectures; creating and/or participating in labyrinth walks; engaging in environmental activism; participating in Pagan Pride events, and more.

We have a deep love of learning, and are constantly working to further our scholarly and experiential knowledge.
