About Us
Kautantowit's Mecautea (KM) is the first ever of it's kind established in the continental United States that is declared as an official independent SPIRITUAL Human Rights based church On official record! We initially foundationed within the state of Oregon in the beautiful Pacific Northwest but have spread even beyond creators boundaries of Turtle Island in both membership and too, child churches. We are the people, the Human Being, mixed and made to the satisfaction of great Creator and we know that's All we've gotta be! We are also the first and only "Church" known of that had the courage to declare Multiple "controversial" plant medicines as being among our sacred medicines, and who encourage our members to honor and utilize them all in good medicine way that prove beneficial for their individual as well as collective needs. Though cannabis is cicurrently being exploited and sold out because of the dollars people can make off it's life and death, to us she is and will always be sacred medicine from mother earth and father sky, which is why we refer to it as being Mother Medicine for those wondering who didn't know the point behind our reference.

This is why we cannot emphasize Enough that we are "Non-Denominational" as well as "Multi-Denominational" and that our priority is and remains SPIRITUAL more than it does or ever will be about "Religious." We know the difference, and we strive to make sure that all who come into contact with we and our members comprehend that difference and continuously strive to maintain and preserve the Spiritual Connection while sho"Religious" beliefs help them to attain it.

KM is also publicly well known as being among the primary protectors, defenders as well as educators and utilizers of our "Sacred Mother Medicine", aka Cannabis but which better known publicly as the racial slang term "Marihuana" within today's mis-educated society. We know that cannabis is Creator made and mother earth given us, and appreciate all of the wondrous gifts she continues to give us throughout all levels of our physical existence while riding this big blue ball. Our spiritual leaders have been front-line advocates for cannabis liberation for more than 25 years and our spiritual leader Hawkeye Graves was personally under the wing of the movements founding father for more than 13 years of that time as a daughter.

Tribal Wisdom Roots in KM
Through KM, First Nations & First Peoples knowledge, wisdom and cultural heritage is not only preserved but Honored and cherished as well as highly emphasized and actively practitioned among all our members and their relations to be continuously strived for throughout their daily lives. Spirituality is more important and essential then the masses of oppressors minions would have you believe or even fathom, it is a creed, a daily and never-ending goal we each should strive to attain and maintain throughout all the days of our lives. Materialistic things such as "religion" to us are secondary by nature, followed by politics and all other vices used to divide and ultimately conquer our as well as all other living species here on mother globe.
KM reflects our traditions, wisdom and teachings primarily upon the Inherent rights as the created human beings Great Creator (Kautantowit) designed ad willed for us to have, and teach ALL First Nations and First Peoples ways and beliefs when it comes to our living with the earth as traditionally as is possible within today's society and encourage further research and studies into each and all of the unique cultures inherent to us for having been born here upon the land We call "Turtle Island!

The study team highlights eight spiritual disciplines (receiving, responding, repenting, re-envisioning, reminding, remembering, reforming, and rejuvenating) rooted in all the religious traditions (Caux Round Table 2010). These discernments all were linked by expressions of hearing Great Creator’s call. Taken together, a case was then made for three action-oriented social mandates or principles, derived from disciplines that would help direct the activities of KMs.
These principles, essentially global social norms for KM, can be described as follows:
(a) To serve God by serving others;
(b) To seek justice on behalf of the poor and vulnerable;
(c) To shape the economic system so that it provides greater person-centered fairness and stewardship over the earth. If our exploratory description of KM features below has face validity, it should reveal the regular presence of these three social mandates in religion-motivated enterprises, including some plausible exploratory propositions that often distinguish RMEs in terms of their relationship to
The principal of Kautantowit's Mecautea is to aid and support in the healing of our globe and all living beings upon it. In other words, HEALING AND UNIFICATION our and remain among our primary objectives overall which we strive to preserve daily. Though we Do maintain the right to perform rituals of the Native American Church including the peyote ceremony, Our primary medicine is and remains cannabis with the beloved Manna medicines as our secondary focal healings, though ultimately we Do support all Natural Earth-Based medicines gifted us to use for our benefit.

KM honors and when able conducts All sorts of different spiritual and religious ceremonial rites ranging from traditional organized religions, historic "lore" and New Age ritual ceremonies that come from roots all over mother globe. Though you might not appreciate some of them as members you are expected to respect that other members Do and we have No Tolerance for disrespect within the KM tribal family - you're welcomed to partake in any and all of the rites we offer as You like, and too, you're welcome to Not partake in any you choose to not be a part of, freedoom of your choice is something We honor of you and ask as well as expect you to respect for other KM members.
When it comes to Traditional Native American Church (NAC) ceremonies, KM have a very deep appreciation form and structure that is adhered to. Tradition is strived to as closely as possible when KM conducts tribal ceremonies though to Every persons "standard of expectations" can never truly be met, even among other NAC's and spiritual practitioners as Each ceremony as well as person are uniquely different from one another by Creator's decision. To us, they, just as ALL ceremonies we do are an act that requires deep commitment and faith. These rituals enable the individual to commune with Great Creator and the spirits (including those of our ancestors who have passed away) in contemplation and vision and so to receive from them spiritual power, guidance, reproof, and healing in as close to the same ways as did our ancestors for generations before we came into physical existence. We remain Honored that many NAC's as well as tribal members find us honorable and acting in a sacred way when it comes to tribal traditions and are thankful for the blessings of recognition they've gifted us.

Many tribes conduct such ceremonies approximately once a month while others are still NOT allowed to have ceremonies at all, but we as they who are practitioning such ceremonies find ourselves most frequently beginning tribal ceremonies in mid-evening on Saturdays, although the frequency varies and special meetings may be held for specific purposes. Many times they are held for the same reasons people worship in any religion; to seek guidance and direction, to give thanks, and to ask for forgiveness and deliverance.

We say it that way because of the wide array of different ceremonies we as KM do and offer. For example, when KM's Coven conducts lunar rituals we obviously conduct them through the evening and night, and when we have solar ceremonies we usually initiate them just before sunrise and proceed to if not beyond high noon, so it really all depends on the purpose of the individual ceremony being conducted.
This is one of Many reasons that KM does Not choose to host ceremonies on set schedule, aside from traditional ceremonies dictated us by Creator and mother earth, such as the solstices for example. Instead and in addition to those, we as KM instead choose to host ceremonies as needed and or requested by our members according to their needs.
The Majority of the sacred medicines KM uses for spiritual connection, including obviously our beloved mother cannabis and manna medicines of coarse but also too the peyote ritual for example as is held in such high esteem by the tribes, are believed to allow communion with Holy deity (Kautantowit, aka Great Creator) as well as our many guardian ancestor spirits, and to give power, authority, guidance, and healing to us during our time of need. hese types of ceremonies are obviously done when where and as needed/requested by our members but is still coordinated as best as possible to the proper cosmic time
The healings we do may be viewed as being either emotional or physical, or both and are Always focused on Spiritual above all else as we believe as our elders have emphasized to us, in that health is attained through attaining balance in ALL aspects of being while we progress forward through this physical life - spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, etc.. We as KM respect and appreciate ALL of the sacred Medicines that Creator and mother Earth have gifted and continue to bestow us with and we continuously strive to encourage others to consider learning about and coming to appreciate the same gifts for themselves, as was meant for us while we're here!
